RITUAL SEALS

How to draw the seals to mark the Star of the Rulers

Seal of the First Ruler. Draw a small circle more or less at the center of the outer circles. Draw two horizontal lines above and below the small circle. Draw thick vertical bars at the sides of the small circle. Finally, draw a semicircle turned upwards at the top.

Motto of the First Ruler: Quaerite Primum Regnum.

Seal of the Second Ruler. Draw a semicircle at the bottom, with little downward tips. Draw a downward-facing triangle touching the semicircle in the middle. At the top, draw a small circle with a semicircle on top, facing up. Connect the triangle and the circle with a cross.

Motto of the Second Ruler: Cogita Ante Salis.

Seal of the Third Ruler. Draw a semicircle or half ellipse at the top. Draw a horizontal line inside that curve and a vertical like upwards, from the middle of the horizontal line (this will look like an upside-down letter T). Draw a triangle at the bottom. Connect the upper figure and the triangle with a line. Draw a Venus symbol at the left side of the central line and an upside-down version of the same symbol at the right side.

Motto of the Third Ruler: Nihil Nimis.

Seal of the Fourth Ruler. Draw two horizontal lines roughly at 1/4 of the innermost circle's diameter. These will be the basis for the upwards and downwards triangles (note that both triangles have their other two sides meet at the vertical diameter line). Draw a Sun symbol at the center of the resulting hexagram, occupying about half of the area of the inner hexagon. Connect the Sun symbol with the hexagon's vertices.

Motto of the Fourth Ruler: Ignis Aurum Probat.

Seal of the Fifth Ruler. Draw a Christian-style cross at the center, with circles at the tip of each arm. Draw an arrow pointing up from the uppermost circle. Draw two triangles touching the right and left circles with their superior vertices.

Motto of the Fifth Ruler: Decerne Quod Justum Est.

Seal of the Sixth Ruler. Draw a vertical rod or long nail at the center of the circle, with a small circle at the top. Draw a horizontal line more or less at the center of this vertical rod. Draw a crescent figure to the left/upper side of the rod (notice how this will make up a design resembling the symbol for Jupiter) and connect it to the horizontal line with a slanted line from the middle of the crescent to the right end of the line. Finally, draw a parallel line to the slanted line you just drew, connected to the left side of the horizontal line.

Motto of the Sixth Ruler: Viscera Misericordiae.

Seal of the Seventh Ruler. Draw a symbol for Saturn just a little below the center of the inner circle. On top of this symbol, draw the familiar circle-and-semicircle design. Above the central figure, draw a Star of David; to its left, draw a crescent; to its right, draw a five-pointed star.

Motto of the Seventh Ruler: In Lumine Dicentur.
